HEALTH & SAFETY

Just as Westgreen have very real commitment to quality, we also have an established safety culture and desire for excellence.

Our focused approach to health and safety and respect for our obligations is reflected by our policy to ensure that site / project managers receive all relevant training, overseen by our contract managers and further supported by our health and safety team. Part of their brief is to conduct regular on-site health and safety audits and inspections, incorporating on-site ‘toolbox talk’ training. All reports are issued directly to our Managing Director and our team hold regular internal health and safety committee meetings to report on their findings and to keep us abreast of new developments.

Our policy is to ensure all directly employed personnel are CSCS cardholders as a minimum, with relevant training courses (e.g. asbestos awareness) arranged as required. In addition to maintaining staff training up to date, we also commission bespoke internal training courses which is often extended to our regular sub-contractors and consultants.
